BIG NEWS!!! A MUST READ!!!
I can't believe how time goes by! Our family get-together for the year anniversary of my Dad passing was really nice. All the family was together, almost. Brian came, but Beth and the kids stayed behind. It was nice to have all 9 kids there. Fun times! It can get a little crazy, but good memories. We all shared memories from growing up with Dad and also things we have learned from him.
Thanksgiving was good too! LOTS of food. We drove down the night before and drove back after dinner. Short trip. Ty and I have a good time together, it's always fun to go on a road trip. It's fun to have those long talks and funny talks. I made up a new joke on this last drive. lol What is Black on the inside and white on the outside?.... Michael Jackson! HAHAHAHA
So tonight were putting up all the Christmas Decorations! Ty is LOVING it. Christmas is his FAVORITE holiday. He loves the lights and all the fun cartoons. He grew up with the house all decorated from front to back and such. It's fun to see his enthusiasm. :) Since were living in his parent's basement we don't have a lot of our own decor, but his mom let us do the basement. :) Every year since he was born they have gotten a ornament or two each year, so our tree has all his ornaments on it. He has gotten lots of snoopy ones, and this year his mom started to get me them too. :) So I got a pretty sparkly snowman that you stick a light from the tree in and it lights up. :) Then we got a little Santa one too, Ty got a snoopy and then the "Leg Lamp" from the Christmas story. It's pretty sweet, lol. It says a few lines from the movie, and lights up with you open the Fragile Box... lol So that is our Tree, it's cute and full of memories for Ty. :) I'll post some pics sometime!
I went BLACK FRIDAY shopping for my FIRST TIME! Ty had to work it at Target, so he was up at 3am. I wake up and make his breakfast before, so I was up and I couldn't go back to sleep, so finally at 6 am, Ty's mom Peggy and I went out! Neither of us had gone before. IT WAS A MAD HOUSE!!! It was crazy, at target the people were STORMING the whole store and then at Kohls the wait in line was 4 HOURS!!!!! So I learned my lesson, IT'S NOT WORTH IT. :D
SO FINALLY, OUR BIG NEWS!!!
Ty starts school in January, he will be finished with his generals in May. Which MEANS... :) He will just have his pre-requisites for the Animation Program, which a few he can ONLY take at byu- provo. SO in June we are planning on moving back to UTAH!
Idaho has been a big learning experience for me. I have been away from home alot in my years, but never for more than a month at a time. It's been good though. I am very thankful for Ty's parents for letting us live with them and be able to get up on our feet and find a job and such. It's been fun, I have cooked more than a ever have before (not that much in reality, but for me ALOT). Best thing is, I am enjoying cooking! I mainly cook deserts, but it's still cooking! :) It's been good living here, but Ty and I are looking forward to having our own place too.
Life is good, and full of learning. Ty and I have a good time together. I love spending time with him, I am happy he is excited for school and moving forward with it. Thanks everyone for your love and support, we are blessed to have such awesome family and friends! :)

Happy November!!
Wow it is very weird to think it is already November!!! It is hard to believe. Last night as I was laying in bed I started to think about life a year ago. It's weird that it's been a year because I remember last year this time so vividly. I agree with April that it's a month of rememberance. A year ago this week was when things took a dramatic turn in my Dad's fight against cancer. What seemed like the impossible because reality. I cherish the memories I have, both good and scary and sad. April mentioned in her blog that there couldn't have been a better month for my Dad to pass away. November is the time we give thanks and remember all that we have been blessed with. I agree. My Dad has blessed my life with so many things and the events that happend before, during and after his passing are ones that I cherish and know I am blessed to have experienced. I miss my Dad every day. There isn't one day I don't have a thought of him, but I am so greateful for the love he has for me & the love my heavenly father has for me too. I truely am greateful for all my blessings. My Dad taught through his example that no matter what your circumstance is, you are blessed in one way or another. Even to the end of his earthly life he was always giving thanks for what health he had & for everything else he had in life. Not sure I would have been able to do the same. My family is also blessed to have such a great Mom! It's not been the easiest road but she is doing great!
It seems every year there usually something that people put an empahsis on for "what they are greateful for". This year I have to say my family. We have always all been "friends" but this past year we have all been able to develop a true friendship and learned what it means to lean on your family for support. Your not here alone, nor do you go through your trials alone. There is always someone there to be with you. My siblings are truely my greatest of friends. My favorite thing to do is hang out with my family. Be with all my siblings and their families and just talk and play games and be ourselves.
I am also greateful for my husband and all he does for me. I am truely appriciative of his willingness to do what it takes to support us. It's not always easy but you make it! Living in his parent's basement isn't bad, but everyone knows it's easier to be in your own place. Working at 4 am isn't what anyone WANTS to do, but its what is neccessary for now. I am greateful for him being supportive of me and putting our needs before his desires. I know we are going to have a great future!!!
There are so many things I am greateful for along with PEOPLE that I am greateful for. I hope you all can give thanks for what you are greateful for at this time! Happy November!
